Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus: the complete office suite of the 2019 range

Office 2019 Professional Plus combines the classic Office programs with the Access database and the Skype for Business communication tool. You buy the licence once and use it indefinitely on one Windows PC, with no subscription and no ongoing costs.

This version is aimed at users who deliberately want to stay with Office 2019: for example because the office uses Access databases, Excel macros or Word templates that were created and tested with this version. It can also be a sensible option for workstations that mostly run offline, or for simple office tasks.

Important to note first: Microsoft ended support for Office 2019 on 14 October 2025. You will find details on this further down.

• PowerPoint for presentations
• Outlook for emails, calendar and contacts
• Access for your own databases, forms and queries
• Publisher for flyers, invitations and notices
• Skype for Business for chat and meetings, provided your company runs a suitable server

OneNote is not part of the Office 2019 package, but can be obtained separately from Microsoft free of charge.

Professional Plus or Standard?

Office 2019 Standard includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher. Professional Plus adds Access and Skype for Business. If you need to open, edit or create Access databases, you will need Professional Plus. For correspondence, spreadsheets and presentations, Standard is sufficient.

If you plan to use it for a longer period or work with sensitive data, Office 2024 Professional Plus is the current alternative: Microsoft supports this version until 9 October 2029.

• Not suitable for macOS or Chromebook
• Internet connection for download and activation

Support period

Microsoft support for Office 2019 expired on 14 October 2025. Since then there have been no security updates and no bug fixes. The programs can still be installed and used. You should decide for yourself whether this is acceptable for your use, particularly if you receive emails in Outlook or open files from unknown sources.

How purchase and activation work

• 1. Order: Once payment has been received, you will get the licence key with instructions by email, usually within a few minutes.
• 2. Install: Download the installation files via the download link in the instructions and install Office.
• 3. Activate: Enter the key; activation takes place online with Microsoft, in some cases by phone. We are happy to help by email or remote support.

• The licence is valid for 1 PC running Windows, not for Mac.
• Volume discount: 2 units −10%, 3 or more units −15%.
