Windows 10 Pro: who it still suits
Important note: Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. Since then, no regular security updates have been released. If your PC meets the requirements for Windows 11, we recommend Windows 11 Pro.
Windows 10 Pro can still make sense if a computer does not meet the requirements of Windows 11, for example due to a missing TPM 2.0 or an unsupported processor. A second reason is software compatibility: some industry-specific programs, machine controls or drivers for measuring devices are only approved for Windows 10.
You receive a perpetual single-user licence for one PC. Please plan for a later switch to a supported system.

Differences from Windows 10 Home and Windows 11
Compared with Windows 10 Home, Pro includes the management and security tools listed above, which are needed mainly in offices and small companies. Compared with Windows 11 Pro, it lacks ongoing security updates, but Windows 10 has lower hardware requirements. If your device meets the requirements, Microsoft offers compatible PCs an upgrade to Windows 11; the conditions for this are set by Microsoft.

Support period: ended on 14 October 2025
Since 14 October 2025, Microsoft has no longer provided regular security updates for Windows 10 Pro. The system keeps running, but security vulnerabilities discovered later are no longer fixed as a matter of course. Therefore, use Windows 10 Pro preferably where a switch is not currently possible, and move to Windows 11 as soon as your hardware and software allow.
How purchase and activation work
- 1. Order: Once payment has been received, we send you the licence key with instructions by email, usually within a few minutes.
- 2. Install: Obtain the installation files from Microsoft or via our download link; optionally, we can send a USB stick via DHL.
- 3. Activate: Enter the key under Settings → Update & Security → Activation; activation takes place online with Microsoft.

Erhält Windows 10 Pro noch Sicherheitsupdates?
Nicht mehr regulär. Microsoft hat den Support am 14.10.2025 beendet. Das System funktioniert weiter, Sicherheitslücken werden aber nicht mehr über das normale Windows Update geschlossen. Wenn Ihre Hardware es zulässt, empfehlen wir Windows 11 Pro.
Für wen ist Windows 10 Pro noch sinnvoll?
Vor allem für Rechner, die Windows 11 nicht unterstützen, etwa wegen fehlendem TPM 2.0, sowie für Arbeitsplätze mit Fach- oder Maschinensoftware, die nur für Windows 10 freigegeben ist.
Kann ich später auf Windows 11 wechseln?
Erfüllt Ihr PC die Voraussetzungen (u. a. TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, unterstützter Prozessor), bietet Microsoft für kompatible Geräte ein Upgrade auf Windows 11 an; die Bedingungen legt Microsoft fest. Alternativ erhalten Sie Windows 11 Pro bei uns als eigene Lizenz.
Was unterscheidet Windows 10 Pro von Windows 10 Home?
Pro enthält zusätzlich BitLocker, Hyper-V, den Remotedesktop-Host, Gruppenrichtlinien, den Domänenbeitritt und Windows Sandbox. Diese Werkzeuge sind vor allem für Büros und kleine Firmen gedacht.

Kann ich den Kauf widerrufen?
Bei Lizenzschlüsseln per E-Mail erlischt das Widerrufsrecht, sobald wir mit der Lieferung begonnen haben, nachdem Sie im Bestellvorgang ausdrücklich zugestimmt und bestätigt haben, dass Sie dadurch Ihr Widerrufsrecht verlieren (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB). Wann erhalte ich meinen Lizenzschlüssel?
Nach Zahlungseingang senden wir Ihnen den Lizenzschlüssel mit Anleitung per E-Mail, in der Regel innerhalb weniger Minuten. In Einzelfällen, etwa bei einer manuellen Prüfung, kann es länger dauern. Bitte prüfen Sie auch Ihren Spam-Ordner.
