Microsoft Project 2019 Professional for existing planning environments
Microsoft Project 2019 Professional is the team edition of Microsoft's project planning software from the 2019 release. It is not part of Office but a standalone Windows application with its own licence. Please note: Microsoft ended support for this version on 14 October 2025.
So why Project 2019? Many mechanical engineering and manufacturing companies have worked for years with templates, macros and project files from this version, sometimes supplemented by their own Project Server 2019. If an additional workstation, for example for a design engineer or a project manager in plant construction, needs to match the existing environment exactly, the same release is often the simplest route. The .mpp files can also be exchanged with colleagues working with 2021 or 2024.

Differences from Standard and from later versions
Project 2019 Standard is only suitable for individual planning. The Professional edition additionally includes the Team Planner, cross-project resource management, the connection to Project Server and Skype for Business integration. Project 2021 and 2024 are built on the same foundation; their advantage lies mainly in continued support. If you are starting without an existing environment, 2024 is the better option.

Support period
Support for Project 2019 expired on 14 October 2025. Microsoft has not published any security updates since then. The program continues to work technically, and your licence is perpetual. It is therefore best used in well-secured company networks.
How purchase and activation work
- Order: Once payment has been received, the licence key with instructions is sent by email, usually within a few minutes.
- Install: Download the installation files from Microsoft or via our download link.
- Activate: Enter the key and activate online with the manufacturer, in some cases by phone. We can help by email at info@keychannel.de and, on request, via remote support.

Vor allem, wenn Ihre Firma bereits mit Project 2019 oder Project Server 2019 arbeitet und zusätzliche Arbeitsplätze einheitlich ausgestattet werden sollen. Für einen Einstieg ohne solche Vorgaben empfehlen wir Project 2024 mit Support bis 09.10.2029.
Bekommt Project 2019 noch Updates?
Nein. Der Support endete am 14.10.2025. Das Programm funktioniert weiterhin, Microsoft liefert aber keine Sicherheitsupdates mehr.
Kann ich Project 2019 Professional auf einem Mac installieren?
Nein. Project ist nur für Windows erhältlich. Auf macOS lässt es sich nicht installieren.

Nach Zahlungseingang senden wir Ihnen den Lizenzschlüssel mit Anleitung per E-Mail, in der Regel innerhalb weniger Minuten. In Einzelfällen, etwa bei einer manuellen Prüfung, kann es länger dauern. Bitte prüfen Sie auch Ihren Spam-Ordner.
