Microsoft Project 2019 Standard: project planning for trades and small businesses
Microsoft Project 2019 Standard is the single-user version of Microsoft's planning software from 2019. The program runs standalone on Windows and is not included in any Office package. Important to note first: Microsoft support for this version ended on 14 October 2025.
A practical example is a trade business coordinating a bathroom renovation or an interior fit-out. Demolition, installation, screed, drying time, tiling and final assembly follow one another; if one trade drops out, everything after it is delayed. Project 2019 Standard shows this chain clearly and keeps the completion date in view.
This version is suitable if your business already runs Project 2019 or you want to continue using planning templates from this version.

Standard or Professional, 2019 or newer?
Project 2019 Professional is tailored to teams: Team Planner, resource levelling across multiple projects, Skype for Business presence and the connection to Project Server. For a master craftsman's business in which one person plans the dates, Standard is sufficient. Project 2024 offers comparable planning features and will receive security updates until 2029.

Support period
Since 14 October 2025, Project 2019 has no longer received security updates from Microsoft. Installation and use are still possible, and the licence is perpetual. Bear this end of support in mind when making your choice, particularly if the PC is also used for email and the internet.
How purchase and activation work
- Order: Once payment has been received, the licence key with instructions is sent by email, usually within a few minutes.
- Install: Download the installation files from Microsoft or via our download link.
- Activate: Enter the key and activate online with the manufacturer, in some cases by phone. We can help by email at info@keychannel.de and, on request, via remote support.

Für Betriebe, die bereits mit Project 2019 arbeiten, Vorlagen daraus weiterverwenden oder mehrere Arbeitsplätze einheitlich halten möchten. Wer ohne Vorgaben startet, ist mit Project 2024 besser beraten.
Kann ich mit Project 2019 Dateien aus Project 2021 oder 2024 öffnen?
In der Regel ja, da die Versionen das .mpp-Format verwenden. Funktionen, die es erst in späteren Versionen gibt, stehen in 2019 allerdings nicht zur Verfügung.
Läuft Project 2019 Standard unter Windows 11?
Ja. Project 2019 lässt sich unter Windows 10 und Windows 11 installieren. macOS wird nicht unterstützt.

Bei Lizenzschlüsseln per E-Mail erlischt das Widerrufsrecht, sobald wir mit der Lieferung begonnen haben, nachdem Sie im Bestellvorgang ausdrücklich zugestimmt und bestätigt haben, dass Sie dadurch Ihr Widerrufsrecht verlieren (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB). Wann erhalte ich meinen Lizenzschlüssel?
Nach Zahlungseingang senden wir Ihnen den Lizenzschlüssel mit Anleitung per E-Mail, in der Regel innerhalb weniger Minuten. In Einzelfällen, etwa bei einer manuellen Prüfung, kann es länger dauern. Bitte prüfen Sie auch Ihren Spam-Ordner.
